The coating is not a universal answer for ponding water, negative hydrostatic pressure or continuously submerged service. Priming, reinforcing fabric at details, minimum dry-film thickness and correct recoat timing determine performance. Reflective grades may reduce solar heat absorption, but energy savings depend on climate, roof design and actual reflectance.
Traffic protection may be necessary on accessible terraces.
Typical applications
Application should be scheduled around rain, humidity and temperature limits.
Before you use it
- The roof must be inspected for drainage, cracks, weak screed, existing coatings and moisture.
- Before specification, verify the manufacturerβs standing-water limitations, crack-bridging data, UV performance and warranty conditions.
General technical guidance. Final product selection, dosage and system details are confirmed from the manufacturer data sheet and a site assessment.
